Welcome to Pipermint, my name is Piper! I’m a writer with a serious travel bug, as well as a creative professional who loves bringing brands to life through words. I’m currently a senior copywriter at Mattel, where I write packaging, ecomm, and product copy for Barbie and Monster High—two brands I adored as a kid. My focus is Monster High, where I get to flex my creative claws (I mean, chops!) on everything from comic books and collector package storytelling to product line names and campy puns. A scream come true!

I started this site back in 2017 as a travel blog while studying abroad in Reims, France. After graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, I followed my heart back to France and spent 16 months in Lyon as an au pair. I became fluent in French, explored Europe, and even weathered the first 8 months of the pandemic with my wonderful host family.

When I came back to the States, I joined Revolve as a fashion copywriter, crafting product descriptions for labels across Revolve and its designer sister site, FWRD. In 2022, I landed at Mattel, and I’ve been writing in their dollhouse ever since.
